Aloha and welcome to Steaming Bean Coffee Roasters. If you are here you must love coffee as much as I do. I’ve been roasting coffee at home as a hobby for some time. I’ve been roasting all regions and have been delighted by each bean and how they roast and taste differently.
It was after a sampling of the Ka’u bean, that led me on my next adventure to the Big island of Hawaii. Here I sampled coffee from countless coffee farms in the Kona and Ka’u regions where I became hooked on Hawaiian coffee.
During my morning walk in the Naalehu neighborhood with a cup of Ka’u, I stopped to talk to a gentleman who appeared to be sorting through coffee beans during the natural drying process. My morning walk was the right place at the right time that enabled me to secure a relationship with a local farm owner. At that moment my world was aligned and I placed an order for all the green coffee beans from this farm in Ka’u that I could fit in my suitcase. From that chance encounter I knew that I was meant to bring fresh roasted multi award winning Ka’u coffee to the mainland. Crop to cup.
While I sample the world in my cup, I do add my favorite coffees to the menu so that you can sample the world in your cup along with me. So check frequently as our menu options may have changed, you don’t want to miss out on any deliciousness.
